Your Role

As a security guard, you have a responsible mission: to monitor protected objects and prevent sabotage, espionage, and other serious crimes. You will work both independently and in teams, with varying working hours – day or night. The position is at Malmö Airport and means that you are an important part of the airport's security.

You want to work with safety-creating tasks and have a natural ability to combine service with a pronounced security mindset. You are meticulous and structured in your work approach as there may be some administrative tasks involved. We are looking for security-conscious and service-oriented employees with inner security, maturity, and a natural drive to help. Great emphasis is placed on communication and collaboration skills as this role involves a lot of contact with customers, contractors, and visitors. Personal qualities determine the best fit for the assignment. We place great importance on your ability to work in a team, but we also expect you to independently identify and solve problems. You have a positive attitude towards your work and the ability to spread positive energy in a team.

Our General Requirements Are That You Must:

Be of legal age before you start working and be unpunished*, you also need to have a high school education with passing grades in Swedish 1, good health and physical fitness. Organized finances and a B driver's license. You also need to be a Swedish citizen.

Meritorious:

• Guard training (VU1 + VU2)
• Have civil or military security guard training (military training from 2020 or later is valid).
• Weapon training. (HAS)

If needed, security guard training via BYA. If you have the right profile for Avarn and proceed in the process but do not have the prescribed training (Security Guard), we will cover your training! Security guard training (8 days) is conducted at BYA. The Security Industry's Professional and Work Environment Committee. Participation in this is a prerequisite for employment including approved security clearance and approved HAS training.

The employment is security classified and we conduct a security clearance with a background check according to the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Therefore, you must be a Swedish citizen. Tests will also be applied for this position.

For the approval authority's review of a person's legality and civic reliability, information in the criminal record or suspicion register or that is processed by the Security Police under the law on the police's processing of personal data within the area of criminal data law will be obtained.

** If you have completed security guard training during military basic training, it is also valid for civilian use. The training must have been completed in 2020 or later, and the training certificate must not be older than 5 years. If you have a security guard training through the Armed Forces without military basic training, you need to complete a shortened security guard training to be able to work as a civilian security guard.
